Get the Cats is an augmented reality game where you search through houses looking for cats; lots and lots of cats. Just find yourself a little space and use your phone as a window on a whole new game world for you to explore.

Each house has a living room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. And in each room, you will find four cats hiding, as only cats know how to do. They won’t make it easy for you, but they are there. You will need to move your phone around a lot; look under the furniture, on top of the wardrobes, and even inside the cupboards and drawers. When you find them, they will let you know!

Some cats will need a little encouragement. Instead of trying to find the cat, give the cat a reason to find you. Maybe you turn on the TV, and the cat comes out to watch, or you find some milk and put it out in a bowl, and the cat will come to drink.

If you can solve these puzzles, then you will find all the cats.

Oh, did we forget to tell you? You need to be quick. You only have a minute to find them in each room; else, you will have to start again. The good news is that these cats are not so bright, so they will probably hide in the same place again.

The game doesn’t end when you find the cats. Now you have an entire glaring of cats (did you know that was the word for a group of cats?) Don’t forget to look after them. They will be good to you if you are good to them.

Get the Cats is a fantastic game for adults and kids alike. And it’s a fun game for adults to play with their kids! You will need to get up and move. You can’t play Get the Cats sitting on your sofa.

With your phone acting as a window to the game world, you can move around objects, and even get down on your knees and look under chairs and tables. It’s a truly 3D world projected onto your real-world environment. And you can make the rooms larger or smaller to fit your play space. Hint, larger is better!
